Core purpose
Different reader communities value different things. Light-novel readers, translation readers, and a particular work’s Realm may use different dimensions, or they may prefer the simplest one-time vote. REZICS therefore puts scores in Realm context rather than offering only a seemingly global, objective average.
What is available now
- Score a Unit in a specified Realm score context.
- Attach one or more scores to a review.
- Show community score overviews and personal actions on work details.
- Filter reviews by Realm and score relationships.
- Preserve every score’s source instead of writing aggregates as work facts.
Why Realm context matters
Differences associated with region and language are often community differences. Rather than add ever more hidden filters to one global score, REZICS lets a Realm directly own visible rules, dimensions, and discussion context.
Simple voting should remain easy. Communities that truly need finer judgment can create specialized dimensions, avoiding a scoring system so complex that nobody uses it.
In development
Multilingual labels for custom dimensions, versioned structural specifications, event-based scores, rankings, and dynamic collections need stronger governance. The first phase prioritizes dimensions the platform can fully localize, then gradually opens Realm extensions.
Relationships and boundaries
A score is neither a review nor source-free ranking truth. It provides structured comparison; text reviews retain reasons. Recommendations may use score signals but must not write their results back as public work data.
