Core purpose
A film, a season of a television series, or an album needs a long-term work identity. A particular playback, streaming URL, or underlying file is only a presentation or source. REZICS models media as a work Unit so cross-language names, regional editions, and community content return to the same work context.
What is available now
- Create multilingual names, summaries, covers, status, and type data for media works.
- Connect series, releases, people, organizations, characters, tags, and external sources.
- Arrange content nodes with media-specific Content Structure.
- Let collections, reviews, scores, Realms, and progress refer to the same identity.
- Present media relationships in a shared detail framework while retaining product-specific fields.
Content scope
Albums, films, and television dramas with an overall identity are the right place to begin. Whether an individual piece of music or video should become media depends on whether it has irreplaceable work fields and product behavior, not merely on having a different file format.
In development
Video spoiler markers, advertising/commercial-content markers, and native multilingual danmaku all require timeline semantics, creator rights, and cross-language presentation rules, and are not yet listed as available capabilities. More complete playback and source integration must first address lawful hosting and external-link boundaries.
Relationships and boundaries
Media does not handle streaming playback, file hosting, transcoding, or DRM. REZICS preserves work identity and the knowledge network; actual media delivery can come from lawful external sources or future licensed hosting services.
